About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Flight Simulator Technician to join our team at the Jet2 Training Centre in Bradford. As a key member of our technical team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and functionality of our flight simulators.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on simulator systems and associated devices, including mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Conduct thorough testing and verification of system performance, identifying and resolving any defects or issues.
  • Manage stock control and inventory of spare parts, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a technical support role, preferably within the aviation industry.
  • Strong technical knowledge and skills in mechanical and electrical systems, with the ability to work on complex machinery.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve technical issues.
