About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Care and Education Support Worker to join our team at National Star College. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting young people with disabilities to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and learning support to students with varied and complex disabilities during therapeutic, social, and educational activities.
  • Work collaboratively with our committed staff team to put students first and ensure their needs are met.
  • Use your own initiative and be proactive in managing change and demonstrating resilience when faced with challenges.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Experience of working with people with learning and/or physical disabilities.
  • A Level 2 qualification in care or learning support (desirable).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A strong work ethic and ability to work independently.

Working Arrangements

We are looking for someone who can work 5 days a week, Monday to Friday, for 39 weeks, term-time. The working hours are between 8:30am and 4:30pm, with one evening a week for a team meeting.
