Job Opportunity: Housing Policy Assistant

Cheshire West and Chester Council is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our Strategic Housing Programme Team as a Housing Policy Assistant.

The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the team, including operating management information systems for the collation and monitoring of statistical analysis reports. They will also be responsible for assessing affordable housing applications and responding to customer enquiries to aid the effective delivery of affordable housing across the borough.

The ideal candidate will possess sound analytical skills, experience of monitoring statistics and interpreting data, and a good understanding of housing need. They should also be fully computer literate with a working knowledge of appropriate computer applications, such as the Microsoft Office suite.
