We are seeking a highly skilled Naval Architect to join our team at Subsea Oil and Gas Directory. As a key member of our Engineering and Marine department, you will be responsible for preparing Structural Integrity Strategies and overseeing inspections to maintain the structural integrity of onshore and offshore oil production facilities and FPSOs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain Structural Inspection Strategies and develop detailed inspection work scopes/work packs for topside and subsea.
  • Ensure the integrity of design, fabrication, and installation of new fixed offshore steel structures for Greenfield oil & gas development projects, structure modification work for Brownfield projects, and the integrity of existing fixed offshore steel structures.
  • Provide specialist skills, integrity, and knowledge in key areas of discipline engineering, including design codes, legislative requirements, and current good engineering practice.

Requirements:

  • Fluent spoken and written English is essential, and you should have excellent presentation and Microsoft Office skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of Marine engineering, including basic propulsion systems, cargo transfer systems, and outfit equipment.
  • Experience of working with oil tankers, gas carriers, and floating production or storage vessels.
