Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Youth Work Development Manager to join our team at Bath and North East Somerset Council. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering high-quality youth work programs in the Stalbridge, Milborne Port, and Henstridge areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement youth work programs that meet the needs of young people in the designated areas.
  • Manage and support a small team of staff and volunteers to deliver youth work sessions.
  • Lead on youth work sessions and manage the running of those sessions in the evenings.
  • Work closely with Town and Parish Councils to develop and deliver youth work programs.
  • Contribute to the development of the youth work team and ensure that all programs are delivered to a high standard.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in youth work development and delivery.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
