The role involves supporting children with challenges related to learning difficulties, social and emotional problems, disabilities, and complex needs.
We are seeking a dedicated Learning Support Professional to work in a school that caters to children aged 4-16 and specializes in Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) support.
The successful candidate will have the chance to work with children who have experienced trauma or neglect, display challenging behavior, ADHD, Autism, or other mental health issues, and require additional support to improve their social, emotional, and mental well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing emotional support and guidance to students
- Assessing and addressing individual student needs
- Collaborating with teachers and therapists to develop comprehensive support plans
- Monitoring progress and adjusting strategies as needed
