About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our team at Larks Hill Junior and Infant School. The successful candidate will be responsible for complementing the professional work of teachers by taking responsibility for agreed learning activities under an agreed system of supervision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supporting the professional work of teachers in the classroom
  • Assisting with the planning and delivery of learning activities
  • Line managing other Learning Support Assistants
  • Allocating and monitoring work for other Learning Support Assistants
Requirements
  • Passion for helping pupils thrive and meet their full potential
  • Friendly manner and ability to communicate effectively with staff and pupils
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently
  • Experience of working in a similar specialist area
