Responsibilities and Tasks

This role involves inspecting and troubleshooting industrial equipment, performing repairs, conducting regular inspections, implementing preventative maintenance strategies, carrying out welding activities, addressing breakdowns, verifying the functionality of safety systems, and more.

Required Skills and Experience
  1. Prior mechanical and electrical experience.
  2. Experience in repairing mobile plant, such as forklifts.
  3. Background in HGV maintenance or vehicle maintenance; while not mandatory, it presents an advantage.
  4. Experience in repairing conveyor belts, industrial shredders, granulators, or similar equipment.
  5. Basic knowledge of electrical systems; while beneficial, it is not essential.
  6. Proficiency in welding techniques.
  7. Strong fault-finding skills.
  8. Effective problem-solving abilities.
  9. Fluent English communication skills.
  10. Good physical fitness.
  11. A valid UK driving license.
