We are seeking a Security Officer to join our multi-skilled team at MBDA UK Ltd, working at our Stevenage site. The successful candidate will be responsible for the effective physical control of entry, operation, and monitoring of all security and safety equipment.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is up to £27,800 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including:

Job Description

This role involves operating security systems, including Access Control Systems, CCTV, Radio Communication Systems, Perimeter Intruder Detection systems, and various safety systems. You will work with a highly experienced and qualified combined in-house and externally supplied Security team.

You will be involved in varied security operations, gaining experience in Vetting and Registry duties/roles, expanding your knowledge of Security processes and procedures.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you need:

  • An eye for detail and flexibility
  • The ability to undertake shift work, both day and night shifts, and travel to other sites when required
  • A good working knowledge of security/safety processes
  • Numerate and IT literacy skills
  • Good report writing skills
