Job Summary:
NHS Scotland is seeking a skilled professional to provide a high-quality domestic service to its hospitals and community health premises. As a Domestic Service Coordinator, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Rotate around all wards, clinical areas, and departments within the hospital to ensure a thorough cleaning schedule is maintained.
- Adhere to NHS Scotland's National Cleaning Specification and Healthcare Acquired Infection (HAI) Task Force Code of Practice.
- Work collaboratively with other teams to ensure a seamless service delivery.
- Identify and report any maintenance or repair issues to the relevant authorities.
Requirements:
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and supplies.
Working Hours:
This role requires a flexible approach to working hours, including weekends and varying shifts. The successful candidate will be required to work a minimum of 37 hours per week, with the possibility of additional hours as needed.
