We are seeking a talented Junior Commercial Counsel to support the growth of our commercial business across multiple brands, including VistaJet and XO. As a key member of our international legal team, you will play a critical role in drafting and negotiating commercial agreements, including charter and flight service contracts, loyalty programs, and marketing agreements.

Your Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, and edit commercial legal agreements, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Negotiate agreements directly with third parties, including opposing counsel, to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Develop a deep understanding of our company's products and business goals, providing pragmatic support and advice to our global sales team.
  • Assist with the global litigation portfolio, including letters before action, cease & desists, e-discovery, settlement, and releases.
  • Use and maintain our document, template, and contract repositories, ensuring seamless access to critical information.
  • Monitor legal developments, conduct research, and advise stakeholders on relevant matters.
  • Support a wide range of projects on an as-needed basis, from HR to Tax.

Required Skills, Qualifications, and Experience

  • Qualified attorney (solicitor or barrister/advocate) admitted to practice law in England & Wales or Scotland.
  • Minimum 2-3 years in a similar role and/or with relevant law firm training.
  • Demonstrable contract drafting and negotiating experience.
  • Commercially minded dealmaker with a lawyer's attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, able to translate legal matters to a non-legal audience.
  • Digital literacy with a robust understanding of business tools (MS Office, etc.).
  • Excellent English communication skills, both orally and in writing.
  • Self-starter, able to work autonomously from time-to-time.
  • Able to monitor emails during peak periods, including evenings and weekends.
  • Willingness to learn and embrace new challenges/new areas of law.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with English and/or New York consumer and commercial laws.
  • Experience working directly with a sales team.
  • Experience working in an international company with an international client base, particularly EU and UK.
  • Knowledge of (or strong interest in) aviation, luxury, and travel industries.
