We are seeking a highly skilled Head Chef to join our team in Newport. As a key member of the kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality food to patients and staff in the hospital.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cooking and menu planning, with experience working in a fast-paced kitchen environment. You will work closely with the catering manager to ensure that all food meets the highest standards of quality and safety.
Responsibilities include:
- Preparing meals and menus for patients and staff
- Maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment
- Supervising kitchen assistants
We offer a competitive salary of £53 per hour, with potential for overtime on rotation. The role is full-time, with a minimum of 28 hours per week between Monday and Sunday.
