Peterborough MASH Service Development Opportunity

Peterborough City Council is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead the development of our Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) service. As Inclusion and Safeguarding Lead, you will play a key role in shaping the future of our service and ensuring that children and families in Peterborough receive the right support at the right time.

About the Role

We are looking for a leader who can implement a refreshed practice model, develop a restorative culture, and build a dynamic leadership team. You will be responsible for developing our workforce and implementing innovative ways of working with children and families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a refreshed practice model that prioritizes family-centered practice and innovative ways of working with children and families.
  • Establish a restorative culture that enables professional learning and development, and promotes a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Develop a dynamic leadership team that is committed to delivering high-quality services and achieving excellent outcomes for children and families.
  • Evidence of experience of safeguarding children and applying thresholds for intervention.
  • Bring a child-centered approach to service delivery, and demonstrate a commitment to diversity and inclusion.
