Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Chemistry Educator to join our team. As a Chemistry Educator, you will be responsible for implementing and delivering an engaging and effective curriculum to our students, while also contributing to the development of our academic programs.

Main Responsibilities
  • Curriculum Development: Design and deliver a comprehensive and challenging curriculum that meets the needs of our students, aligned with the National Curriculum requirements.
  • Teaching and Learning: Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that cater to the diverse needs of our students, promoting academic excellence and personal growth.
  • Assessment and Evaluation: Develop and implement effective assessment strategies to measure student progress and achievement, providing constructive feedback to students and parents.
  • Staff Development: Participate in ongoing professional development and contribute to the growth and development of our academic team.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues, promoting a culture of open communication and collaboration.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Hold QTS (or equivalent) and a relevant undergraduate degree in Chemistry or a related field.
  • Experience: Possess successful teaching experience at secondary level, ideally in a multi-ethnic urban school setting.
  • Skills: Demonstrate a strong understanding of effective teaching and learning strategies, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
