Hours of work are Monday to Friday, 7.30 - 5.00, and every other Saturday morning, 8-12.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide a warm welcome to customers and take a genuine interest in their projects.

  • Develop a thorough understanding of our product lines to offer expert advice and assistance to customers, aligning with our Jewson Values.

  • Assist with preparing customer orders, loading and unloading customer and supplier vehicles using a Forklift Truck to minimize manual handling (training will be provided).

  • Inspect incoming deliveries and report any missing or damaged products.

  • Maintain stock levels in both the shop and yard areas, conducting regular stock counts.

  • Ensure the branch remains clean and tidy, making a great first impression on our customers.

  • Prioritize Health & Safety and demonstrate how you can maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others.
