Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Automotive Centre Manager to lead our team at TPS, part of the Volkswagen Group. As Centre Manager, you will be responsible for driving business growth, improving customer satisfaction, and developing your team to achieve exceptional results.

About the Role

  1. Achieve sales targets and business objectives by leading, motivating, and managing your team.
  2. Translate overall sales targets into departmental targets and set challenging but achievable goals with first-line management.
  3. Ensure the team is motivated, recognised, and incentivised to deliver excellent customer service.
  4. Create Personal Development Plans and monitor progress to provide developmental or corrective support.
  5. Develop a Manpower Plan for your centre and implement succession planning.
  6. Maintain a customer-centric culture and high levels of customer satisfaction through the team.
  7. Work within the identified sales strategy to increase sales revenues and devise sales plans.
  8. Regularly monitor business performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and take action for any deviations.
  9. Analyse internal and external market data to develop an understanding of potential sales opportunities.
  10. Control costs within agreed parameters, including Gross Margin levels.
  11. Ensure compliance with business standards and processes, financial, legal, and ethical guidelines (including Warranty).
  12. Maintain effective relationships with all stakeholders.
  13. Ensure the overall security of stock and premises.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must possess:

  1. Proven ability or aptitude for leading and motivating a team to achieve business targets in a B2B environment.
  2. A passion for providing exceptional customer service experiences and the automotive industry.
  3. The ability to communicate effectively and build strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  4. Experience devising strategies and implementing plans.
  5. Sales-focused and results-orientated mindset.
  6. High degree of IT literacy and proficient MS Office user.
  7. Management experience.

Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, dependent on experience, plus a range of benefits, including:
