University Solicitor

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to lead the provision of legal support, advice, and guidance to our highly professional, committed, and student-focused community at the University of Chichester.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering an excellent legal compliance service across our two campuses in Chichester and Bognor Regis, working closely with stakeholders to ensure effective communication and confident decision-making.

We are seeking a qualified solicitor with significant post-qualification experience (PQE) in contract, commercial, and intellectual property law. The ideal candidate will have up-to-date knowledge and expertise to advise colleagues on complex legal issues.

You will be a qualified solicitor admitted to practice in England and Wales, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality legal advice in a fast-paced environment. Your ability to manage competing priorities, work effectively under pressure, and communicate complex information clearly will be essential in this role.

As a key member of our Academic and Professional Services teams, you will work closely with non-qualified staff members to provide clear and concise advice on legal matters. You'll need to demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.

• A competitive salary of £56,021 to £64,914 per annum pro rata, or £33,612 per annum to £38,948 per annum
