About the Role

As a specialist in colorectal care, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of care for patients participating in the Bowel Screening Wales (BSW) Programme.

You will be responsible for managing the BSW team within Powys and working closely with the CTMUHB BSW team lead to ensure compliance with current standards within the BSW/Endoscopy service.

The successful candidate will have expert knowledge of colorectal physiology and anatomy, pharmacology, and other relevant treatment options.

They will also be aware of national political priorities and agendas relating to Public Health Wales and Bowel Screening Wales.

Working Arrangements

You will work on a rotational basis, covering weekend lists run by Powys HB, and will have a flexible approach to working hours/days to accommodate the BSW list within the service.

Salary and Benefits
