UHI STEM Outreach Coordinator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled STEM Outreach Coordinator to join our team at North East Scotland College. As a STEM Outreach Coordinator, you will play a key role in promoting Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) subjects and careers, as well as addressing equity of opportunity in STEM subjects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinating and enhancing STEM network and activities with other STEM partner organizations at a local level.
• Developing and implementing STEM outreach programs in primary schools in the North East Aberdeenshire region.
• Working in partnership with the University of Highlands and Islands (UHI) to promote STEM subjects and careers.
• Building relationships with industry partners to secure funding and resources for STEM outreach programs.
• Collaborating with the regional STEM team to develop and implement STEM education and outreach initiatives.

Requirements:

• Strong interest and enthusiasm for STEM education and outreach.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Experience in education or a related field.
