Job Summary:

We are seeking a Fleet Operations Specialist to join our client's team in Gloucester and Cheltenham depots. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with legislative and best practice issues, maintaining fleet management systems, and providing administrative support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage fleet operations, vehicle maintenance, and repairs in accordance with legislative requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, workshops, and stakeholders on service schedules, delivery, and quotations.
  • Maintain accurate records, including defect reporting and vehicle history files.
  • Process customer payments, send invoices, and manage accounts in accordance with existing procedures and audit guidelines.
  • Source and procure vehicle parts and goods from stock and external suppliers.
  • Update and maintain fuel cards, telematics systems, and other used systems by the company.
  • Drive company vehicles to deliver goods or transport personnel.
  • Maintain databases and spreadsheets containing service and customer details, job status, and financial information.
  • Ensure equipment certification and calibrations are up-to-date and asset registers are maintained.

What We Offer:
