Tarmac Trading Limited invites applications for a Concrete Field Technician position at our South Wales/Southwest England operation. In this role, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for delivering high-quality ready-mix concrete to construction sites across the region.

Job Overview

The Concrete Field Technician will be responsible for ensuring that all aspects of concrete production meet strict quality and safety standards. This includes conducting on-site inspections, monitoring material storage and handling, and maintaining accurate records of site activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect concrete mixing plants and storage facilities to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations
  • Monitor and record temperature, humidity, and other environmental factors that may affect concrete quality
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to concrete production or delivery
Requirements

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • A degree in a relevant field (e.g., civil engineering, materials science) or equivalent experience
  • Strong knowledge of concrete chemistry and physics, as well as relevant industry standards
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills for effective collaboration with colleagues and clients
