Asset Grading Officer

We are seeking an experienced Asset Grading Officer to join our team, working closely with the Head of Programme to review asset grading scores and develop a future pathway for our homes. As an Asset Grading Officer, you will adopt an analytical approach to reviewing asset grading scores, working collaboratively across our localities to understand the challenges faced by property, customers, and lettings.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in identifying future redevelopment and regeneration opportunities by location and support Regeneration and New Business by attaining approval for initial feasibility studies.
- Use the asset grading model to work through local authorities in the South and West of our geography on a property-by-property basis.
- Work collaboratively across our localities to understand the challenges faced by property, customers, and lettings, and assist the Head of Programme in developing a bespoke strategy for each operating area.
- Assist the Head of Programme in identifying a pipeline of poor-performing schemes for the Head of Disposal to appraise.
- Support the Head of Programme in the annual refresh of asset grading to illustrate the effectiveness of combined strategies, including development of new homes, disposal, and improvement of existing homes.
- Take responsibility for flagging homes for disposal to support the Business Plan.
- Proven experience in a similar role in Asset Management or Property Management with a good understanding of property lifecycle and obsolescence.
- Strong communication skills and report writing experience.
- Analytical skills with attention to detail and the ability to analyze large and small data sets to draw conclusions and identify trends.
- Strong IT skills, particularly in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Power BI, and operating systems such as Keystone/ActiveH or similar housing management systems.
