Job Description: Brook Street Social Care is seeking an experienced Support Worker to join its team in caring for vulnerable children and young people.

Location: Preston, North West

Working Hours: Flexible shifts and sleeps, including weekends

Salary: £26,880 per annum (pro-rata) + £55 per sleep

Requirements: A valid driving licence, experience supporting young people with emotional behavioural difficulties, and the ability to work independently.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in promoting positive relationships between staff and residents, ensuring seamless transitions, and facilitating enjoyable experiences.

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage daily routines, including medication administration and maintaining accurate records.
  2. Deliver therapeutic interventions tailored to each young person's needs.
  3. Plan and facilitate activities that foster growth, independence, and a sense of belonging.
  4. Contribute to collaborative case management with healthcare professionals and other stakeholders.
