We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Actuarial Pension Consultant to join our team at Lane Clark & Peacock LLP.

Job Description

Pension consultancy involves providing expert advice to clients on pension scheme funding, investment strategies, and compliance with regulatory requirements. As an Actuarial Pension Consultant, you will work closely with clients to understand their needs and develop tailored solutions to meet their objectives.

The ideal candidate will have excellent technical skills, including experience with actuarial valuations, solvency testing, and buy-in analysis. You will also be able to communicate complex technical information effectively to clients and stakeholders.

In addition to your technical expertise, you will have strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues alike. You will be proactive in identifying opportunities to deliver value-added services to clients and contribute to the growth and development of our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert actuarial advice to clients on pension scheme funding, investment strategies, and compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Develop and implement tailored solutions to meet client objectives
  • Work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide regular updates on project progress
  • Contribute to the growth and development of our business by identifying opportunities to deliver value-added services to clients
Requirements
  • Qualified FIA / FFA or post-qualification experience
  • Excellent technical skills, including experience with actuarial valuations, solvency testing, and buy-in analysis
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues alike
  • Proactive approach to identifying opportunities to deliver value-added services to clients
