Role Overview

The demand for high-quality real-world evidence (RWE) and health outcomes (HO) research continues to grow, supporting drug development, access decisions, and clinical decision-making. The Value, Evidence, and Outcomes (VEO) International team aims to accelerate equitable patient access and transform healthcare delivery through bold, high-impact science. We seek talented, collaborative, and diverse team members to join the VEO, International medical affairs function and Team Lilly.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and oversee RWE research strategies for compounds in the Lilly portfolio, integrating RWE/HO from early clinical development through commercialization.
  • Serve as a strategic partner on lead/core teams throughout development and/or commercialization.
  • Formulate and drive RWE/HO for priority products and geographies.
  • Develop bold, high-impact science for products across the lifecycle, influencing and supporting evidence needs for Lilly products in support of improving patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • Doctorate (PhD, MD) or PharmD/MS degree with significant experience in creating, executing, and delivering outcomes strategies/projects.
  • Proven track record in leading impactful real-world evidence from study concept to dissemination of findings.
  • Substantial experience in designing innovative and/or applying advanced methods for RWE studies.
  • Strong comprehension and communication skills, including the ability to translate and disseminate complex scientific information in a clear and concise manner.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Understanding of healthcare systems in at least one of Europe and/or Asia.
  • Understanding of and experience with healthcare delivery models and clinical research.
  • Technical and analytic capabilities across real-world evidence, patient-focused outcomes, burden of disease, epidemiology, statistics, and healthcare policy.
