Master Meat Craftsman

About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned Master Meat Craftsman to oversee our meat production department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring high-quality meat products meet the highest standards of quality control.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in managing butchers and leading teams in a shop or abattoir setting, with excellent attention to detail and strong leadership skills. Proficiency in Urdu or Punjabi is also essential for this role.

Responsibilities:

1. To oversee and manage butchers, ensuring they follow all health and safety procedures and maintain the highest standards of quality control
2. To train new staff members and provide guidance and support where needed
3. To place orders for meat and monitor the ordering system to ensure stock levels are maintained
4. To maintain overall responsibility for quality and control, including monitoring inventory and implementing cost-saving measures when possible

Salary and Benefits: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum (dependent on experience) plus additional benefits for qualified candidates.
