Technical Manager

Technikraft is a leading manufacturer of consumer and industrial products, including lubricants and hard surface cleaners. We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Manager to lead our product development, product support, and regulatory management efforts.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in chemistry and experience in a technical management role. They will be responsible for leading a team of development chemists and the QC Lab team, as well as working closely with sales, customers, and production to ensure the successful launch of new products and the ongoing support of existing ones.

The Technical Manager will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring product compliance with relevant regulations, such as CLP, REACH, and Cosmetics Regulation
  • Developing and implementing new product development processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness
  • Refining existing products to meet changing regulations and raw material availability
  • Leading a team of development chemists and the QC Lab team to ensure high-quality products
  • Working with the operations team to resolve production challenges
  • Managing raw material data and supporting the Procurement Manager with the introduction of new materials
  • Ensuring label compliance and working with the SHEQ Manager to ensure appropriate documentation for chemicals on site
  • Collaborating with the sales team to support new and existing business
