Family Solicitor Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Family Solicitor to join our team at Edwards & Pearce. As a Family Solicitor, you will be responsible for representing clients on family law matters and providing legal counsel. Your duties will include researching and analysing cases, creating court pleadings, agreements, and petitions, and working closely with the wider teams within the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent clients on family law matters and provide legal counsel
  • Research and analyse cases whilst working with the client
  • Create court pleadings, agreements, and petitions accordingly
  • Work closely along the wider teams within the company day to day
  • Represent clients at Directions Hearings and Contested Hearings
  • Keep up to date with changes of procedures and laws
  • Delivering outstanding service to the clients
  • Resolve client concerns and queries

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years' experience in the same role prior
  • Comfortable with Microsoft packages
  • Keen eye for detail
  • Ability to work to deadlines
  • Enjoys collaborating with other teams within the business
