Agile Delivery Manager - Software Team Lead

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Agile Delivery Manager to lead our software development team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving agile process maturity and shaping the software delivery landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and manage a team of software and test engineers to deliver high-quality software products.
  2. Foster team growth in both soft skills and technical abilities, ensuring the team is equipped to handle complex software development projects.
  3. Implement and refine agile/lean tools and techniques to improve team efficiency and productivity.
  4. Collaborate with Product Management and Engineering teams on roadmaps, sprint planning, and feature inceptions to ensure alignment and effective delivery.
  5. Facilitate agile ceremonies, including standups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, to promote team collaboration and continuous improvement.
  6. Proactively resolve blockers and support effective team working to ensure timely project delivery.

Requirements:

  1. Proven track record in managing cross-functional technical teams, with a strong focus on agile methodologies.
  2. Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
  3. Project management skills, with experience in managing software development projects from conception to delivery.
  4. Extensive commercial experience in agile environments, with a deep understanding of agile principles and practices.
  5. Experience as a Scrum Master, with a strong understanding of Scrum frameworks and ceremonies.
  6. Ability to support and guide product management, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Formal Agile training, with certifications such as CSM or CSPO.
  2. Experience with JIRA and/or DevOps tools, with a strong understanding of their application in agile environments.
