About the Role

We are seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join our People Team at Farrans Construction. As a key member of the team, you will provide professional HR guidance and support to managers and employees across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a first point of contact for HR-related enquiries, providing guidance on company policies, procedures, and best practice.
  • Support the onboarding process, ensuring a smooth transition for new employees into the organisation.
  • Support managers in handling employee relations issues such as disciplinary's, grievances, and performance improvement plans.
  • Promote workplace health, safety, and wellbeing initiatives.
  • Provide advice on managing workplace absence and support the organisation's policies and practices.
  • Advise and guide managers on performance review processes, including setting objectives, providing feedback, and conducting performance reviews.
  • Successfully oversee the employee offboarding process.
  • Keep up to date with employment laws and regulations, ensuring company compliance with legal requirements.
  • Contribute to the development and updating of HR policies and procedures.
  • Support initiatives aimed at improving employee engagement and satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and track HR metrics.
  • Prepare HR reports and take notes in meetings as and when required.
  • Analyse existing workflows and recommend improvements to reduce manual efforts and increase automation in HR processes.
  • Support HR projects and initiatives as needed.
Requirements
  • In-depth prior experience in a HR advisory or generalist role.
  • Proven experience with HR Projects and process improvement initiatives.
  • Hold a full driving license and access to a vehicle.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency with the complete MS Office Suite.
