Consultant Psychiatrist Position

The Avon and Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust is seeking a highly skilled Consultant Psychiatrist to join our Sarum Community Mental Health Team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing expert psychiatric care to patients in the community.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and treat patients with psychiatric conditions in a community setting
- Collaborate with GPs, other healthcare professionals, and non-NHS organizations to provide comprehensive care
- Provide advice and consultation to team members and attend regular multidisciplinary team meetings
- Ensure timely and effective documentation of clinical decisions and management plans
- MB BS or equivalent medical qualification
- Fully registered with the GMC with a licence to practise at the time of appointment
- Approved clinician status or ability to achieve within 3 months of appointment
- Experience of assessing and treating patients in a community setting
- Leadership skills and ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
