About the Role: Data Analyst - Financial Modelling

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our team at Uptake Strategies. As a Data Analyst - Financial Modelling, you will be responsible for collecting, analysing, and interpreting complex financial data to inform business decisions.

Responsibilities:

  • Collect and analyse financial data from various sources.
  • Develop and maintain large and complex financial models using MS Excel.
  • Create and manage financial models in Power BI.
  • Create and manage dashboards and reports to visualise financial data.
  • Analyse financial data and provide insights to support business decisions.
  • Collaborate with clients and our internal teams to gather and validate business information.
  • Prepare detailed business reports and presentations for clients and senior management.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all financial models and reports.

Requirements:

  • Likely to have a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Financial Analyst or similar role.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, including financial modelling, Power Pivots and complex formulae.
  • Strong experience with Power BI, including creating and managing financial models, dashboards and reports.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of financial principles and practices.

Estimated Salary: $85,000 - $115,000 per year.
