We are currently looking for Cover Teachers to work in secondary schools across Telford, offering an ideal opportunity for those seeking a flexible working arrangement and enthusiastic about education.



Job Description


As a Cover Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering pre-planned lessons and maintaining a productive classroom environment. Your key responsibilities include:



  • Delivering engaging lessons in the absence of the regular teacher.
  • Managing classroom behavior to promote a focused and respectful learning environment.
  • Following the school's policies and procedures at all times.
  • Adapting to teaching various subjects and year groups as needed.
  • Providing constructive feedback to the regular teacher regarding student progress.


Requirements



  • Previous experience teaching in a secondary school.
  • Strong classroom management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Flexibility to work across different schools and subjects.
  • A current DBS check or willingness to complete one.


What We Offer



  • Estimated salary range: £90-£140 per day.
