Job Title: Catering Assistant

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Catering Assistant to join our team in the Preston area. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing a range of freshly cooked meals, developing and producing a menu, and maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook a variety of meals for students and staff
  • Develop and implement a menu that meets the needs of our customers
  • Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety guidelines
  • Work effectively as part of a team to ensure the smooth operation of the kitchen
  • Provide excellent customer service to students and staff

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Recent experience of working in a school environment or similar setting
  • Hardworking and flexible, with the ability to use initiative
  • Experience with Health & Safety and cleanliness
  • Ability to develop good relationships with children and adults
  • Commitment to Safeguarding
