Salary Information
You'll be rewarded with a competitive salary of £12.10 per hour, plus a welcome bonus of £150 on completion of 100 hours. Additionally, you'll receive travel time pay at a rate of £11.44 per hour, plus 28p mileage.
Job Description
As a care assistant with City & County Healthcare Group, you'll play a vital role in supporting our clients to live safer and more independent lives in their own homes. You'll follow individual care plans and assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, managing incontinence, using the toilet, and administering medication. You'll also help with practical tasks like shopping, mealtimes, and housework.
Required Skills and Qualifications
While experience in social care isn't necessary, you'll need to possess a compassionate and caring approach to your work. Resilience and a willingness to learn new skills are essential for this role. As part of our close-knit team, you'll have access to training and development opportunities to enhance your knowledge and expertise.
