Job Summary:

A leading plant hire company is seeking a skilled Generator Maintenance Specialist to join their team. As a Generator Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for attending generator breakdowns on site, working on Bruno generators, and participating in toolbox talks in the depot.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attend generator breakdowns on site and perform repairs and maintenance
  • Work on Bruno generators, including 20kva kva models
  • Participate in toolbox talks in the depot to share knowledge and best practices
  • Be part of the on-call rota and receive a standby retainer of £150
  • Benefit from a basic salary of £30k dependent on experience, plus 20 Days holiday plus Bank holidays, Van and fuel card, Door to door travel from the depot, and OT

Requirements:

  • Demonstrate a good working knowledge and fault-finding skills with power generation equipment
  • Hold a mechanical NVQ level 3 qualification
  • Have a full driving license
  • Be in a commutable distance to Newport
