Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Care Assistant to join our team at Ideal Carehomes. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality care and support to residents, including personal care, medication management, and emotional support.
- Lead and manage a team of care staff, ensuring they are trained and equipped to provide excellent care.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans, ensuring they are tailored to individual resident needs.
- Monitor and report any changes in resident condition, ensuring prompt action is taken to address any concerns.
- Collaborate with other departments, including nursing, therapy, and activities, to ensure a holistic approach to care.
Requirements:
- NVQ level 2 in Health and Social Care (essential)
- At least 6 months experience of being a Senior/Team Leader in a Residential Care Home Setting (essential)
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
