Job Overview
This Learning Mentor position is an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young people with Special Education Needs and Disabilities in Norfolk. As a Learning Mentor, you will provide Maths, English, or Science tuition to students with varying learning needs, promoting their educational and social-emotional growth.

Main Duties:
  • Plan and deliver tailored sessions to meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to track student progress.
  • Foster strong relationships with students, parents, and the SEN/SEND Support Team.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Teaching qualification (e.g., QTS) and minimum 2 years teaching experience
  • Experience working with students with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or other Additional Educational Needs
  • Safeguarding knowledge and Enhanced DBS
  • Two professional references
