Job Title: Junior Buyer - Outlets

Crew Clothing Head Office is seeking a talented Junior Buyer to join our team. As a Junior Buyer, you will play a key role in the commercialisation of our product range, driving profitable sales growth and ensuring that our collections meet the quality expectations of our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Product Development:
    • Deliver agreed product range from proto stage to product delivered in store
    • Identify new product opportunities and present these to the Head of Buying
    • Ensure that the range meets all established targets, including intake margin, cost price, and profitability
    • Manage the process to ensure timely delivery and quality expectations
  • Supplier Relationships:
    • Develop strong working relationships with supply partners, liaising on all stages of product development, negotiation, and production
    • Negotiate prices and execute product ranges that exceed budgeted intake margin for all channel ranges
    • Manage production process from SMS confirmation to delivery into warehouse
  • Team Working:
    • Work collaboratively and communicate effectively with the team and wider business
    • Attend weekly departmental team and trade meetings to ensure the team is well-informed and prepared
    • Work closely with Merchandisers to ensure the signed-off range reflects the agreed options and product/colour mix
Requirements:
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Excellent computer literacy in Excel, Outlook, and Word
  • Ability to prioritise and manage a work schedule while working to tight deadlines
  • Ability to initiate and build strong relationships with suppliers and other department members
  • Team work and motivated to work independently
  • Understanding of the Buying function and critical Path processes
