About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Associate to join our underwriting operations team at Michael James Associates. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing tasks related to the underwriting lifecycle, including analysis, quote preparation, non-renewals, accounting, document issuance, endorsements, and cancellations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Underwriting Operations: Manage underwriting submissions, ensure timely and accurate data entry, and perform data cleansing as needed.
  • Data and Document Management: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies, and maintain accurate records of policies, reports, pricing models, and reinsurance contracts.
  • Procedures and Training: Develop, maintain, and review standard operating procedures, and support the design and implementation of process, systems, data, and regulatory changes.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in IT, particularly with the Microsoft Office suite, and prior experience with commercial insurance (business-to-business) products and services.
  • Analytical Skills: Proven ability to use data analysis and insights to track operational performance and make informed decisions.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
