We are seeking a skilled Service Engineer to maintain our fleet of machinery in optimum operating condition. The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing and repairing equipment on and off site, ensuring statutory compliance and developing a professional relationship with internal and external clients.
Key Responsibilities- Attend sites to carry out servicing and repairs of the rental fleet
- Perform PDI work in line with hire desk and customer demand
- Complete LOLER inspections for statutory compliance
- Develop a professional relationship with internal and external clients
- Ensure a high standard of Health and Safety for colleagues and customers
- Complete all paperwork, timesheets and job cards efficiently within a given time scale
- Apprentice Trained Technician
- Product/Manufacturer training advantageous but not essential as ongoing training will be provided
- Full driving licence
- IPAF Demonstrator licence advantageous
- CAP Qualification advantageous
- Strong working knowledge of D.C, electrics, hydraulics and engines
- Commitment to excellent customer service and safety
- Flexible approach to working hours, as business demands
