Maintenance Technician

About the Role

Holt Engineering is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a key member of the maintenance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our industrial equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Minimize production downtime by identifying and resolving equipment breakdowns while preventing future occurrences.
• Utilize electrical and mechanical drawings and documentation for fault-finding and modifications to industrial plant and equipment.
• Perform preventive and planned maintenance tasks.
• Contribute to improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing equipment reliability and eliminating recurring faults.
• Conduct electrical and mechanical maintenance on industrial equipment and building infrastructure.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all EHS company policies.
• Continuously expand job knowledge through on-site experience, training, and development opportunities.

Requirements

• Demonstrated proficiency in industrial maintenance and fault-finding on electrical, pneumatic, or hydraulic systems.
• Proven competency in reading and interpreting electrical and/or mechanical diagrams, as well as fault-finding in control panels and industrial systems.
• Experience in any of the following areas is advantageous: PLCs, fabrication, welding, and vacuum technology.
• Computer literacy and familiarity with office software applications.
• Resilient and resourceful approach, with strong judgement and decision-making skills.
• Proactive work ethic, strong initiative, and the ability to operate independently within a shift team environment.
