About the Scheme

Johnson & Alcock is launching a flexible short-term mentoring scheme for individuals interested in learning about the publishing industry.

The scheme is designed to provide a stepping stone for candidates who want to work in publishing, with a focus on developing skills and confidence.

Mentoring will be at the core of our relationship, with an emphasis on demystifying the industry and providing a supportive environment for growth.

Eligibility Criteria

The scheme is open to all applicants aged 18 or over from under-represented backgrounds in publishing, including ethnically diverse candidates, those living outside of London and the South East, people with disabilities, and those from low-income families.

We're looking for applicants who have a love for books, an interest in the publishing industry, and an appetite to learn. Bright, hard-working, friendly candidates are all welcome.
