Business Systems Manager

About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Systems Manager to join the Sunbelt Rentals IT Team.
As a Business Systems Manager, you will take a hands-on approach to make configuration changes and will be responsible for planning and managing platform upgrades / patches, ensuring compliance and smooth transitions to updated versions, along with planning and prioritizing enhancements with the business owners.
You will work closely with the Test Manager to make and develop regression test plans, and where possible automate these to maximize efficiency of the process using a risk-based methodology.
Key Responsibilities
- Maximizing value from core SaaS / COTS platforms
- Proactively planning and managing a forward schedule of work, relational to upgrades and enhancements.
- Making configuration changes to platforms
- Ensuring best practice is embedded and followed relational to implementations and configurations of platforms, with a key focus on security and operational efficiency.
- Liaising with other key stakeholders and teams.
- Engaging with the Change board to ensure properly managed and approved deployments.
- Developing and building relationships with business product owners and stakeholders.
- Liaising with vendor manager on renewals & licensing requirements.
- Managing Role and persona configuration, review and monitor allocations ensuring compliance
- Working with Infrastructure and Security teams to setup and manage Monitoring tooling across products where possible and appropriate.
