We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Dalkia UK, responsible for maintaining and repairing boiler and CHP systems at our critical sites in North London and East London.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance to building services equipment

• Conduct reactive and emergency breakdown tasks as allocated

• Perform inspections, fault finding, and diagnosis of equipment

• Ensure all tasks are completed in accordance with agreed service levels

• Complete job sheets electronically using a Tablet or Smartphone

• Maintain site-based records and log books

• Perform general cleaning and housekeeping to maximize equipment lifespan

• Proactively work to reduce energy consumption on client sites and recommend improvements

• Adhere to all health, safety, compliance, and local policies and procedures

• Develop and maintain excellent relationships with customers through face-to-face, telephone, and email interactions

Working Hours and Benefits:

• Monday - Friday, 08:00 - 17:00

• On-call rotation: 1 in 3 or 1 in 4, depending on the site

Career Progression:

From this role, you have the opportunity to progress into a Supervisor position, developing your skills and expertise.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• Strong mechanical background, with experience in boiler and CHP systems

• Willingness to complete a Low Voltage AP course, or strong electrical knowledge with a good working understanding of heating systems

• Good health and safety knowledge, with IOSH or similar certification preferred

• City & Guilds Mechanical Level 3 or equivalent qualification

Commercial gas tickets are highly desirable, but not essential for this role.
