The ideal candidate will have excellent knowledge of CDM regulations, experience working in a consultancy setting or client-facing role, and strong communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective health & safety strategies to minimize risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Offer a range of health & safety services to clients, including auditing, training, and consulting.
  • Liaise closely with members of the H&S, surveying, and project management teams to ensure seamless collaboration and delivery of projects.
  • Manage the H&S file from project start through to completion, ensuring accurate records and documentation.
  • Review construction phase plans to identify potential hazards and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Maintain pre-construction information packs for clients, providing clear and concise guidance on health & safety procedures.
  • Attend design team and client meetings to provide input on design risk and ensure that health & safety considerations are integrated into project planning.
  • Provide a CDM Advisor service to clients, offering expert advice on health & safety matters and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct site safety inspections, investigations, and audits to identify areas for improvement and recommend corrective actions.
  • Build new and existing client relationships by providing exceptional customer service and delivering high-quality results.

Requirements

  • NEBOSH Construction or equivalent qualification.
  • Professional membership to IOSH and APS (desirable).
  • Excellent knowledge and hands-on experience of 2015 CDM Regulations.
  • Able to work independently and on one's own initiative.
  • Have worked in the property & construction sector for the last 2 years in a H&S capacity.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
