Gray Healthcare is seeking a skilled Bid Writer to join our team. As a Bid Writer, you will play a key role in creating competitive bids that showcase our expertise and support our growth strategy.

Main Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Senior Bid Manager to ensure timely planning, management, and completion of allocated selection questionnaires and tender submissions.
  • Plan, draft, and write responses to bids, ensuring all written documentation is of high quality and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts to construct relevant answers that clearly meet the requirements of external stakeholders.
  • Build internal and external relationships to create quality bids that best represent the company's services.
  • Manage each bid as a mini-project, ensuring all tasks are assigned to relevant workstreams and actioned in a timely manner.
  • Review and evaluate each bid to glean lessons learned and share constructive feedback with colleagues and the organisation.
  • Present information in a meaningful, useful, and understandable way to internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

  • One year's experience in either Health, Social Care, or Public Sectors.
  • GCSE level in English and Mathematics grade A-C.
  • Minimum three years' tender completion experience.
  • Ability to prove successful wins post tender.

Desirable

  • Further education such as A levels or degree Level.
  • Project Management Experience.
