Technical Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technical Officer to join our team in Hull. As a Technical Officer, you will be responsible for providing technical and administrative support to the site Technical Controller and site management team.
Key Responsibilities- Create, organize, and control documentation in the Food Safety & Quality Manual
- Be an active member of the site HACCP Team
- Be an integral member of the site Crisis Management Team, supporting the site in EWE's and traceability challenges
- Organize equipment calibration and servicing in accordance with site compliance
- Support the Hygiene Manager in maintaining the site chemical register
- Organize and manage the site BRC internal audit program
- Complete internal audits, compile audit reports, identify corrective actions, and close out of non-conformances
- Provide support to the Technical Controller when reviewing third-party audit standards and compiling gap analysis
- Act as a key team member in hosting, presenting, and providing information during third-party audits and internal assessments
- Collate, monitor, and trend environmental, finished product, allergen, and water results
We are looking for a candidate with excellent numeracy and literacy skills, working knowledge of SAP, and experience in food safety and HACCP Level 2. You should be able to work well under pressure, meet deadlines, and be a team player.
