Job Title: Welder Fabricator

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Welder Fabricator to join our team at Jark PLC.

Key Responsibilities:

* Operate welding machines to fuse metal segments together using MIG or other processes
* Measure, cut, clamp, grind, drill, or tack metal pieces before welding
* Fabricate parts following mechanical drawings
* Prepare work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists, gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials
* Maintain the highest level of workmanship standards and product quality, ensuring products are produced and delivered on time in full to the customers' requirements
* Check and complete all paperwork associated with the works order
* Perform area housekeeping activities, including the prompt reporting of problems, shortages, or equipment breakdown
* May be required to visit customer sites throughout the UK
* Use general workshop machinery and hand tools related to the role
* Quality inspect colleague's output

Requirements:

* Fabrication/welding - MIG, MMA/Stick Welding, Stud Welding, and Plasma Cutting - essential
* Preferable have experience using the Armarda Press Brake
* Hands-on experience of working within a mechanical/electrical engineering environment - desirable
* The ability to understand mechanical drawings - essential
* Overhead crane/lifting slinging experience - desirable
* FLT Counter experience - desirable
