Advanced Physiotherapist

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Band 7 Physiotherapist to join our team at Healthshare Group. As a specialist in musculoskeletal (MSK) physiotherapy, you will be responsible for managing a full range of MSK pathologies and developing and applying advanced clinical reasoning skills.

• Act as a specialist physiotherapist in MSK outpatient conditions and manage patients referred to the Healthshare clinics for assessment, clinical diagnosis, and management.
• Assist in clinical audits of the Service and contribute to the development of the service in conjunction with the Physiotherapy Management Team.
• Contribute to the mentoring and development of junior and senior staff.
• Provide expert clinical leadership for the physiotherapists within the team, playing a key role in ensuring that a high standard of physiotherapy is provided for patients, including those with complex multi-pathologies.

• Evidence of a minimum of 3 years experience working at a band 6 level in MSK outpatients
• Management experience undertaking delegated departmental duties
• Experience of quality issues and audit

• Advanced organisational and time management skills
• Proven ability to manage priorities and deadlines
• Advanced communication skills
• Well-developed interpersonal skills
• To demonstrate an ability to communicate complex and sensitive information

• Good understanding of MSK outpatient clinics
• Working knowledge of IT and database systems
• Knowledge of Healthshare MSK services

• To exercise influencing/negotiating skills

• BSc or equivalent in Physiotherapy
• HCPC and CSP registered Physiotherapist
• Good written and spoken English
• Evidence of MSK-related CPD
